I use Netlify for all of my projects for the ease of setup and the huge Developer Experience they offer. From Netlify CLI, to the newly announced Netlify Analytics, we have no issues with Netlify and scaling is possible to a certain degree. We connect Netlify with our GitHub Repos and let all branches build to get a Preview. Also we connected our Domain with ease to it and were able to have the page be shown on our domain.

We use Netlify to Continuously deploy our Website. This happens through pushes to certain branches on GitHub and is also routed through CloudFlare for more security and speed.

We use Shopify because it gives us a great way to manage our products and stock.

We mainly use Shopify as a Headless CMS for our Gatsby and React powered website. Fast responses from their GraphQL API is also a great accomplishment.

Last but not least, their Checkout Page UI is great and doesn't need any improvements from our side.

Gatsby has been at the core of our Shop system since day one. It gives its User the power to create fast and performant sites out-of-the-box. You barely have to do anything to get great Lighthouse results. And it all runs on ES6 JavaScript.

The power of SSR React and then hydrating it client-side to add interactivity and App-like feel is what makes Gatsby powerful.

It comes with a ton of plugins, that are mind-boggling: Image Processing, GraphQL, Node.js, and so much more. This is thanks to a great ecosystem, a great user-base and the revolutionary Community work, which led to the Gatsby repo to be one of the most committed to, out there.

We use Prettier because it helps the team have the same coding style. No more discussions on how the code should look like. The result of working with Prettier is building your App and not fixing your code.

We use React because it is the best framework to work quickly, cleanly and with good results. The composition paradigms of React are far superior to most other frameworks and allow for creating a smart and logical component tree, that is high performant.

Also it can be used to create great UI in combination with ES6, TypeScript, GraphQL and Emotion, if used right. The ecosystem definitely gives solutions to nearly all problems. And I can only recommend using Gatsby, if you need Server-Side-Rendering!
