Does anyone have any advice or guidance on how to create a Lucee instance in the Amazon Web Service cloud? I'm a many years CF dev but I have zero experience working with cloud services and I'm trying to roll my own on this one. I have a traditional ACF hosting arrangement I desperately need to migrate from (their support has recently evaporated and it's causing my application performance nightmares) and my app will need to be in the cloud for scalability considerations so I'm figuring now is the best time to make the move. My current setup is ACF with a MSSQL backend and I think I'd like to migrate that to a Lucee/MySQL or Amazon Aurora setup.

Any pointers would be most welcome. Thanks in advance!

As a CF dev for 25+ years, you COULD decide to re-write the entire thing but if it's working what's the concern? If it's the cost of the Adobe CF license that's your pain point you could simply slide over to using Lucee (https://www.lucee.org/) which is an open source CF engine. If the app was written on CF8 and isn't doing anything exotic and the app is serving your needs but the license cost is the issue...an entire rewrite won't be free by any means whereas Lucee is.

My dev experience led me to adopt the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" as my personal mantra. Seems applicable here.

I'm not at all familiar with Cybersource or Netsuite but I've been using Stripe for several years now with zero complaints. The documentation for Stripe is pretty comprehensive but I'm seeing that Netsuite has Cybersource commercial solutions available. It would seem the answer would be whichever you're more comfortable implementing with Netsuite.
