The analytics platform engineering team’s goal is to build a scalable platform on which data analysts can develop business metrics which are easily discoverable and consumable by users via an intuitive user interface. As a software engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the business stakeholders in order to understand analytics requirements. 
  • Implement the features and user interfaces for analytics platform tools
  • Design efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications and workflows
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver key business insights into Opendoor real estate operations
  • Identify and resolve UI performance issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
  • 3 years of experience building Front End Applications using React or Angular(or similar frameworks) and the concepts behind it
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Passion and an understanding of the nuances of web technologies
  • Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components and a strong sense for good UI/UX
  • Experience building large, modular and maintainable JavaScript code bases
  • Expertise in server side programming
