Global Connectivity Operations Manager - Super Network

Twilio is looking for a Global Connectivity Operations Manager who wants to build a scalable process around cost management in a rapidly growing company. You have a degree in economics and relevant experience in Finances. Understanding IT processes is an advantage. You will need to assure the accuracy of incoming price offers from 200+ partners with a constant process improvement via automation. You will be working closely with procurement and routing people to ensure the best commercial outcome

A great day for you would be working alongside a small but collaborative team, dealing with managing incoming rate offers from various sources.  In parallel you are developing an automation process being supported by Software Engineers.  You are responsible for capturing all rate variances, estimating the business impact and highlighting changes to the respective team

The Twilio Super Network collects, consolidates, and delivers the world’s various communications networks. This allows any business to reach anyone in the world over any channel through one provider. To do this, we have taken a different approach than a traditional telecom company. What makes the Twilio Super Network so super is our unique ability to layer in software to every element of the network. From intelligent route monitoring and automated routing changes to using machine learning to prevent fraud we continue to find innovative ways to use software to ensure the network is always improving. As a result, businesses are able to focus on building unique communication experiences with their customers instead of dealing with the messiness of traditional telecommunication. We believe that customers should never have to worry about network diagrams and servers and redundant power sources and just focus on the code that counts.

Twilio is a company that is empowering the world’s developers with modern communication in order to build better applications. The Engineering team plays an integral role in building out the products that allow our developer community to meet their communication needs.

This position will be located in our office at Veerenni 24 in Tallinn, Estonia. You should expect the normal perks and environment which is common in a modern knowledge based company. Occasional travel to the San Francisco based headquarters is something that you should be able to accommodate as well. What you will also get to experience is a company that believes in small teams for maximum impact; that strives to balance work and home life, we know this is a marathon not a sprint; that builds an inclusive culture where we want all of our people to be comfortable and thrive.  We seek out people who live by our values, who are challenged by problems, empower others to thrive, people who can draw the owl and not be beholden to one playbook.
