Senior Data Analyst, Developer Experience



Twilio is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work with our product and engineering teams analyzing our vast repositories of usage data. You get excited digging deep into massive data sets, finding trends, and using the results to make critical business decisions. You have experience building both operational and executive dashboards working with a variety of disparate data sources and BI tools. You are equally comfortable writing a complex SQL query as you are explaining a cohorted funnel report to a non-technical business stakeholder. You have 4+ years professional experience with SQL, reporting tools, and advanced spreadsheet skills, and ideally some experience with Python, R, or Apache Spark. Most importantly, you have an innate curiosity for using data and analytics to influence product roadmaps and make our customers successful.


A great day for you would be working with a collaborative team, helping them better understand their customers and make prioritization decisions based on data. You will help the team create and update both operational and executive dashboards to track key performance indicators for the business. You will work closely with our Finance team to build financial models for new products, and with Marketing to measure the success of new product launches. You will be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format for the product team from sources such as Redshift, Looker, Salesforce, Heap, and others.

A Data Analyst on this team will dive deep into multiple data sources as we analyze what is important to developers and make product decisions based on the results.
