You are someone who has long history of successfully delivering solutions to complex problems. You are consistently producing high quality work in fast paced environment. You are passionate about data processing and scale of data excites you. You have been go to person for technology questions on your team and have been leading/mentoring teammates. You have worked extensively with large data volumes and technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink/Storm.
In this role you will be working with high scale, high availability data pipelines dealing with billing events, Invoices, Taxes and other related items. You will be leading/mentoring next generation of leaders in the team. You will be spending some of your time infusing your technical expertise and know how in your team through code reviews and white boarding sessions. You will be working with our Tech Lead to setup best practices for the area of ownership. You will be working with Scala/Spark/Dropwizard/MySql/Dynamo/AWS.
As a senior member of Billing Platform team you will have direct impact on Twilio’s revenue. You will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing systems aggregating usage across Twilio; applying taxes and generating Invoices for the usage. You will also play a role in training/mentoring and leading team members.
