Senior Software Engineer – Data Services


The Senior Software Engineer - Data Services with our company will design, build and deploy globally distributed data pipelines that can be accessed securely in real time around the world. Will also automate testing and deployment of operations. Will lead the cloud communications data revolution by leveraging business intelligence, customer feedback and metrics to create an unparalleled customer experience. Will provide scalable, high-quality, resilient backend services in any region for all Twilio data at rest. Will support 200,000,000+ daily transactions and process the pipeline through which all data generated within Twilio flows. Will work collaboratively with product management to define, architect, and build new internal and external facing APIs. Reference Job #111.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related plus 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related plus 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related. Requires 2 years experience as a developer working mission critical systems, in Scala, Java or Python, working in HTTP, networking, and security; and working with traditional RDBMS databases, such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
