As a Senior Software Engineer - Fraud and Finance Team with our company, will be focused on creating software automation that reduces risk and improves efficiency of financial operations on our financial data pipeline. Will be responsible for defending customers against Toll Fraud, Phishing, and Spam through modern techniques in artificial intelligence. Will also ensure high-quality customer experiences by building sophisticated and robust controls and testing systems for financial data. Will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the financial data pipeline that processes Twilio’s usage using principals in distributed computing and will work directly with product management to define, architect, and build new internal and external facing services. Will be responsible for partnering with Technical Lead to make sound architectural changes that will confront some of the most challenging problems in distributed computing, HTTP, and data persistence. Will be responsible for writing quality, maintainable code in Scala and Python with extensive test coverage. Reference Job # 278.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related plus 2 years experience as a Software Engineer or related or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related plus 5 years experience as a Software Engineer or related. Requires 1 year of experience or university coursework with PHP, Python, Java; with Amazon AWS Ability to write complex billing function and scale platform; and with Machine Learning for the Kermit application.
