You are an experienced front-end engineer who can build world-class user experiences. You are able to lead projects, engage stakeholders, and empower other engineers in order to achieve goals. As the Lead Front-End Engineer, you are eager to establish the practices and principles for a new front end team within Platform Engineering. As a Front-End Engineer, your experience includes:
- A passion for the possibilities of client-side architecture and web technology stacks, you love shipping amazing products and you sweat the little things around user experience.
- Strong communication skills in person, on paper and in code. You love to make an impact and thrive in small, collaborative, energetic teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field is a minimum requirement.
Twilio’s Platform Engineering team enables Twilio engineers to rapidly build, deliver, and run global products and services by providing them with compelling, continuously improving platform solutions. We enable innovation and delight our fellow engineers and customers by providing a low friction, high quality, globally distributed platform at scale.
- Own and craft front end experiences, from individual components to entire web applications and frameworks collaborating with Designers, Product Managers and Engineers.
- You will help build new and reimagined developer tools for your engineering peers. Your work will establish the practices, principles, and architecture to grow the front end discipline for Platform Engineering.
Our internal Platform is one of the largest technology stacks at Twilio and is an enabler of all products, acquisitions, and experiments. By crafting great web experiences your work will be a force multiplier that is critical for Twilio’s continued success.
