Senior Software Engineer – Test

As a Senior Software Engineer - Test with our company, will have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and to improve the quality of Twilio products. Will be imbedded within a small, nimble engineering team, owning and operating mission critical production services. Will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering test infrastructure for distributed web services. Will build automated test suites to allow rapid development and continuous delivery including functional, load and performance tests. Will develop end-to-end tests to monitor services from a customer perspective utilizing the Twilio APIs. Will select technology and tools to accelerate testing and scale testing infrastructure and will working on problems related to high performance, globally distributed application services in the cloud, focusing on developing code, rather than fixing bugs. REQUIREMENTS: MS Degree in Software Engineering, or related plus 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in Test or related or a BS degree in Software Engineering or related plus 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in Test or related. Requires 2 years of experience with a JVM language; Java or Scala, creating and maintaining test harnesses/frameworks, with a scripting language such as Ruby, Javascript or Python, with version control (Git), bug tracking (Jira) and build tool (Maven), working in a UNIX/Linux environment and with AWS.
