Sr. Software Engineer - Data Science


Will be responsible for engineering and maintaining team’s data-centric systems and services while in production. Help build and enhance the next generation of BI systems that are at the core of Twilio’s operations. Develop a self-service and automation-based reporting environment that supports memorialization of live, usage-based micro-transaction data and BI. Will also utilize advanced engineering knowledge base to write and maintain quality code which will be subject to extensive test coverage in a professional software engineering environment. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a substantive engineering field degree, or related plus 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a substantive engineering field degree plus 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related. Requires 2 years experience with R, Python, MySQL, Hadoop, NoSQL, natural language processing and feature modeling. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience are acceptable.
