Sr. Software Engineer - Java ServicesApply
Will be a key technical contributor to Twilio and support the next phase of Twilio’s platform and APIs. Specifically, will make significant architectural decisions and work with teams on high performance/high availability distributed systems. Will participate in the design and architecture of software solutions, build high performance, scalable, server-side technologies using open-source technologies, and will write maintainable code with extensive test coverage, working in a professional software engineering environment with source control, dev/stage/production release cycles, continuous integration, and deployment. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related plus 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related plus 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related. Also requires 2 years of experience developing and scaling complex distributed systems based on Java, C++ or .NET technologies, designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining production systems (cloud or installed), and building enterprise/cloud systems with VoIP protocols, REST and/or WebSocket.
