Description

What is Rails API?

Rails::API is a subset of a normal Rails application, created for applications that don't require all functionality that a complete Rails application provides. It is a bit more lightweight, and consequently a bit faster than a normal Rails application. The main example for its usage is in API applications only, where you usually don't need the entire Rails middleware stack nor template generation.

What is Iron?

Iron is a high level web framework built in and for Rust, built on hyper. Iron is designed to take advantage of Rust's greatest features - its excellent type system and its principled approach to ownership in both single threaded and multi threaded contexts.

What is Aqueduct?

Aqueduct is an open source, server-side web framework written in Google’s Dart language. Aqueduct promises faster development, experimentation and testing – without sacrificing power.
