      What is DriftDB?

It is a WebSocket message relay. You can use it for exchanging data between clients that can speak WebSocket or HTTP, even if they can’t connect to each other directly. All messages in DriftDB are scoped to a room, which is a sort of broadcast channel. It provides an API for creating rooms. Clients specify the room they are joining when they connect to DriftDB.

      What is Microsoft Azure?

Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables you to quickly build, deploy and manage applications across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters. You can build applications using any language, tool or framework. And you can integrate your public cloud applications with your existing IT environment.
