Skype is one of the better methods I've found for IM communication, and most of my clients have it. Mostly use it when there is a need for screensharing.
Communication with people and friend and family and co-works oversea.
We use Skype for Business within Office365 to manage multi-tenant voice, video and chat discussions.
I use Skype for Business to have virtual meetings with members of my team and to communicate about projects at KHM Travel Group.
Allows us to communicate with our employees who are all in different countries when they are not logged into Slack. Also used to vet new employees.
General communications. Almost everyone has skype, or at least knows how to use it...
SmartLogic values communication very highly. We use Skype to keep the conversation going with our clients and we use it internally, too.
We are using Skype to help your customers in realtime. Sometimes you need to chat or talk with customer right away and this is best option for us right now.
Works, most of the time. Really bad for international calls out, but perfect for everything else. If the Mac's Messages app actually worked I would totally use it from Screen Sharing, I recall using it a while back and it was flawless. As with a lot of other Apple Software, can’t figure out how to get it working on my new Macbook Pro. I gave up after about an hour of trying to set it up.
