What is Yii?

Yii comes with: MVC, DAO/ActiveRecord, I18N/L10N, caching, authentication and role-based access control, scaffolding, testing, etc. It can reduce your development time significantly.

What is Zend Framework?

Zend Framework 2 is an open source framework for developing web applications and services using PHP 5.3+. Zend Framework 2 uses 100% object-oriented code and utilises most of the new features of PHP 5.3, namely namespaces, late static binding, lambda functions and closures.

What is Volt?

Volt is a ruby web framework where your ruby code runs on both the server and the client (via opal.) The DOM automatically update as the user interacts with the page. Page state can be stored in the URL, if the user hits a URL directly, the HTML will first be rendered on the server for faster load times and easier indexing by search engines.
