  • An excellent cloud solution, but not perfect.

This is a great cloud IDE and has many positives. The inclusion of Java and C++ support is one of the major plus points. Another great positive is the ability to have private projects under the free account.

However, before using codenvy first look at the pricing plans. As although its sales pitch puts forward that you get a lot, it will go and you will be faced with either a migration or premium plan.

Offline caching similar to how Google Docs works would also be great I often do a lot of work on the move and this struggles on a 3G connection.

I would like to see more hours on the free plan, or work out a better free monthly quota.
