• But in Arch Linux, drivers are less well managed that in Ubuntu.

We were searching for an OpenSource tool with a warranty of stability and active community. Moreover, we need the abiilty of JSON column. This feature was added in MariaDB 10.0.1 (06 Feb 2013) but added in MySQL only since version 5.7.8 (03 Aug 2015).
