It's cheaper - It's more flexible and Google provide amazing startup supports to new companies.

Honestly, we used Flask when we first started up as I was personally had a background in Python and wanted to understand the tools we made technically.

Also, as a bootsrapped startup, we needed to build an MVP as quickly as possible and this left few other options. Luckily, it had all the functionality and scalability we need.
