PhpStorm now uses a non modal Commit-dialog design. Sometimes I forgot to commit something when it was done. Now I can just keep the commit dialog open. It reminds me to commit my changes frequently. Improved the quality of my code. You should check that out if you have a simmilar problem.

Also: Did you know you have change lists in your PhpStorm when you use the Task Contexts? This can be seen as little workspaces for your changes. If one file has been changed in multiple change lists and you commit one, only the changes of that change list are being commited.

PhpStorm has all the integrations you need to build cool PHP Applications. This starts from it's super helpful integrated IntelliSense to the composer-support over much more integrated developer tools, such as git, ToDo-Lists and database connections. I also like the material design you can use with a plugin.

I was first sceptical about using Angular over AngularJS. That's because AngularJS was so easy to integrate in existing websites. But building apps from scratch with Angular is so much easier. Of course, you have to build and boilerplate them first, but after that - you save a ton of time. Also it's very cozy to write code in TypeScript.
