We migrated our repositories from GitLab, because of the configuration options, GitHub Actions and because we already had our open source libraries on GitHub.

The CI/CD pipelines are much easier to manage and adding external members to repos is also easier—everyone has a GitHub account.

We are running complex and resource intensive pipelines and managing them with message brokers and custom code required too much maintenance and it also did not scale properly. Argo Workflows together with Argo Events takes care of all the orchestration problems so we can focus on the applications. By default it provides traceability, repeatability and scaling.

We all work on MacBooks and we needed something that is native and works well. Using Postman in a team was a pain, things got messy very fast. Paw handles changes seamlessly. Great configuration and export options, central user management.

The speed at which Algolia searches work is unparalleled. Their API and their SDKs are great and comes with good documentation. There are many options for configuring our indices (sorting, raking, weight, etc) so we can get the best out of the solution. The customer support is excellent and their pricing is sensible.

We use nginx as a load balancer because it is robust and very easy to configure. We use nginx ingress controller to add ingresses simply with helm releases.

This was a rather personal choice at first having worked on several iOS apps prior to bimspot. Initially, it was meant to be just a quick test with Vapor, but then Apple came out with NIO and Vapor adopted it right away. The resulted framework is simply amazing.

The language is extremely powerful and versatile and documentation is great.
