Common Lisp Goodbye Python Lua Javascript and Ruby. This is a fantastically elegant language. Everything I've learned in Lisp has made me a better programmer elsewhere.

C C is the first language I ever wanted to learn. There's no better way to really control a computer that I've found.

Rust I don't mind fighting with the borrow checker so much, once I accepted that it's right more often than I am.

Elm Is pretty freakin rad. Not only is it's type system hugely helpful, but the framework backing the language is fantastic.

I starting using JavaScript because it was my only choice. I'm not personally a huge fan of dynamically typed languages.
