I'm currently using Figma (after using Sketch) for most of my 'screen design' and basic prototyping. However, for about a year I've replaced Adobe CS with the Affinity suite of products - Affinity Photo instead of Photoshop and Designer/Publisher in place of Illustrator/InDesign. I've even done some recent print work with Affinity products. They are easy to transition to because they share many features and general UI presentation of Adobe stuff. I haven't had a chance to do any kind of exhaustive 'gap analysis' between Design and Illustrator, but for day to day stuff I've felt like Designer can handle the tasks.
