Javascript is an industry-standard for web servers but using Javascript would result in us having to work with another language and create an API to integrate with the Python AI/ML backend. In addition, Django can create a beautiful application with low overheads allowing us to service at low-network areas (important as we hope to launch an East-Asia facing product). By using Django, we can directly connect to the backend functions without having to microservice our front end.
