RingCentral is reselling Zoom. Given the security issues with Zoom lately, and how aggressively they have been updating the platform to be more secure, I am not comfortable using RingCentral for anything private.

For example, as of a few weeks ago, Zoom had updated their app about 6 times since December. At least some of those updates had significant security updates. Where a Ring Central had no updates between that timeframe.

With RingCentral you are getting an older version of Zoom. If the newer Zoom features and privacy are not a priority; and RingCentral is offering materially better pricing I might consider them.
