We have tried some issue tracking tools before giving Jira a try.
Jira was at first an intimidating choice, given its then image as a super-complex detailed product. As such, we have used a couple of products before trying it out. But, unfortunately, we were stuck when we started trying some more advanced or unique workflows and issue grouping techniques in other software.
We have been using Jira for more than a couple of years now. We have had our struggles with it, but we like Jira's current state and even use Jira Service Desk and some other Atlassian tools along with it.
