I am launching my digital agency soon & currently I'm working on tooling to make the deployment of sites as automated as possible.
To achieve this I'm using a tool written in Go call Caddy. What's fantastic about this tool is that it takes a lot of the daily drudgery or fiddling with SSL certs, DNS & static files. Caddy will be at the core of most or the operations when onboarding a new client onto the platform.
Yes, there is going to be a platform coming soon, it's going to be MVP though, so I will be moving forward without this platform & onboarding clients with scripts & manually etc.
The platform will be written in Go & will contain a CMS, email features & metric for the clients.
So, I'm at the beginning of a long journey in terms of the work ahead but I thanks to Caddy it's going to make things a lot easier.
Also, not forgetting why i decided to use Go for this project. Mainly for reducing running costs & being able to run many sites on a single VM at scale with excellent performance.
That's it for now, if anyone needs a site built for them, hit me up & let's talk!
