What is ProtoCat?
It is a modern, minimalist type-safe gRPC framework for Node.js.
It has @grpc/grpc-js as a dependency, so no further production dependencies are required.
You will need to generate JavaScript (optionally TypeScript) stubs from your proto files. These will be generated before the start of the app and are usually development dependencies.
ProtoCat is a tool in the Frameworks (Full Stack) category of a tech stack.
ProtoCat is an open source tool with GitHub stars and GitHub forks. Here’s a link to ProtoCat's open source repository on GitHub
