Segment is a good point to start fast and free, - it has greater community, docs and API integrations. It does a thing, and does it well on API level... whereas Adobe goes somewhat IBM-way here, tossing stuff in to increase overall product value... thus target/managerial audience is different... so taking mature decisiin here, should also involve your precise look into your current company's core dev stack habits. By the way... did you see Prometheus ?

Stick with Flutter to keep things simple for now... When PWA-WP plugin migrates to wp-core, then you'll have a good option to consider migrating to headless WordPress & Gatsby...

Flutter is a new sparc out there, because it's Dart engine can run server-side, client side (as web app) and natively - it cross compiles to all major platforms from single codebase...

Have you ever been forced to install additional IDE or SDK (by lack of plugin/integrations in your primary one) or even another OS to reach another platform's dev env? With Flutter - no inconsistent mess anymore, one codebase is well delivered to all platforms...

It's easier to shift from JavaScript to Dart in terms of Web App stuff..
