John is an experienced, hands-on technical founder, entrepreneur, and full-stack developer with a passion for agile and lean methodology. John is the Founder of Starter Inc., developer of the Ignite platform for rapidly building and scaling content-rich, personalized mobile software and scalable web apps. Since 2013, John has utilized his expert JavaScript, Java, and Swift programming skills to create the Chukles mobile App. Chukles uses cutting edge mobile tech and analytics to allow Pro/Am comedians to improve and monetize their craft, while delivering the best social humor experience to their fans. From 2000 to 2012, John was the founder and CEO of Extentech where he built ExtenXLS -- the leading Java Spreadsheet SDK used by millions, and Sheetster -- the first Open Source Web Spreadsheet. He implemented this complex technology for customers working as a consultant on projects for Enterprises including Accenture, Toyota, Workday, Infoteria, Nielsen, IBM and many more.
