We are creating a digital feedback box for employees to express themselves freely and openly. Employees submit a question/idea/issue (anonymously) via our web app and this goes to a queue where one (or more) moderators will be able to look at the content. Moderators would generally be decision makers. For each submission the moderators can either put the content up for public discussion where anyone in the company can comment or endorse (upvote) the post. This is to make popular opinions become apparent. Alternatively moderators can also choose to address the submission privately if they feel that its unnecessary to allow a public discussion. Because employees can anonymously submit questions/ideas/issues, they can voice their thoughts without having their names tied to it. This solves the inhibition or reluctance that people have when speaking up at work where they risk harming their reputation or career.
