Nextcloud has come a long way with ease of setup and Hetzner and Backblaze help scale it for a small business no problem for lower cost.
I would recommend this for any indie consultancy that needs to share files but also create upload links for clients to interact with.
Nextcloud integrates with a lot of services I use and is highly configurable while still being secure.
