Community Medicine Department Health Information and Decision

Mission MEDCIDS is a department for creating, diffusion, and applying knowledge in the areas of Decision Sciences, Biostatistics, Bioethics, Medical Informatics, Health Technology Assessment, and Community Medicine, including General and Family Medicine. MEDCIDS investigates, teaches, and applies methods of data management, information, and biomedical knowledge, namely those of collection, collection, integration, storage, transmission, classification, processing, use, modeling, access, quality, analysis, security, aggregation, dissemination, validation, synthesis, and enhancement, aiming at improving the quality of health and efficiency and safety in the provision of health care. Eyesight MEDCIDS aims at the scientific, technological, and humanistic training of doctors and other professionals involved in these areas and transferring knowledge to the community.
