GROM (formerly UCreate3D) was founded in 2012 by Vincent van de Poll and Koen Munneke as a reaction to the existing 3D printing market which was expensive, impossible to scale, and low quality. GROM is bringing unique and personal products to consumers across the world. After two years of building 3D Printing and mass manufacturing networks across the USA, Europe, and Asia, GROM signed a deal with a major European retailer for a pilot program and has sold 9,000+ units since. GROM’s success caught the attention of one of the largest retailers in the world who soon after signed a contract. GROM has 6 other partnerships with global retail and tech giants, including Amazon. With their 3D printed smartphone cases, GROM ramps up to disrupt the $8.1B market of custom cases and $51B market of mobile accessories. With several new products in the pipeline GROM is reshaping the future of retail and consumer behavior through on-demand 3D printing.
