Early in iAdvize history we chose PHP to build fast a proof of concept. As we got more and more industrialized we chose to integrate Zend Framework 2, PHPUnit and Doctrine 2. If we had to choose today, we surely use Symfony or Laravel instead of ZF2.

We now have less and less PHP in our stack. We don't develop in PHP anymore. We needed a compiled and typed langage to improve quality.
