LegionIO is a ruby based async task engine. It allows for dynamic rules to be created dynamically with out restarting any services like other engines. The LegionIO framework doesn't do anything by itself. You install a LEX(Legion Extension) to allow it to connect to things. You can create relationships between inputs and outputs in a chained way. Tasks can be delayed, tasks can be schedule with either an interval from last run or cron style syntax. There is a custom rules engine, a transformation tier. It uses RabbitMQ to handle backpressure of tasks. Individual extensions can be scaled up/down. Completely MIT licensed. Available on Bitbucket. Also being cloned to Github as popularity increases
