MSMQ vs Sparrow: What are the differences?
Developers describe MSMQ as "A technology for asynchronous messaging". This technology enables applications running at different times to communicate across heterogeneous networks and systems that may be temporarily offline. Applications send messages to queues and read messages from queues. On the other hand, Sparrow is detailed as "A really fast lightweight queue written in Ruby that speaks memcache". Sparrow keeps messages in memory, but persists them to disk, using Sqlite, when the queue is shutdown.
MSMQ and Sparrow can be primarily classified as "Message Queue" tools.
