Hi,
Definitely switch to Affinity Designer! I love how easy, lightweight and fast Affinity Designer and Photo are! The key-shortcuts I use were similar and I had no problem getting used to Affinity. I love their UI design and the applications feel snappy and less crash-prone (they have not been crashing on me). They have great tutorials on their site if you want to learn something new or need some reference. And additionally, they have their apps available for iOS!!! So my advice: ditch Adobe, get Affinity and don't look back!
As for my experience; I'm an Interaction / UX designer, I've been using Adobe since version 2 and stopped using/updating their products when they came out with CC. My design stack consists furthemore mainly of Sketch/InVision/Abstract/Zeplin. Loving it ♥
Hope this helps, Joris :)
