JavaScript is an ever growing technology with lots of opportunities and great depth for both front end and back end development. I would say that JavaScript is a safe bet in terms of furthering your career as a developer in 2022 and beyond. There’s lots of tools and frameworks based on this language that you would have to make decisions on which ones you want to become an expert. I recommend you follow interesting people that you admire to draw inspiration from. Such as Ben Awad or Jeff Delaney.
