I chose PHP because it has been the first programming language I learned and I liked it from the start. Some 12 years ago, when I got into it, I read that there were other better programming languages available, but although that might have been true back then, these last years PHP has been constantly improving it could even be considered an better option that the competition. PHP has been around for since forever, it's easy to pick up and learn, and dive straight into coding.

The drawbacks of this decision are none.

I chose Google Fonts because there is a very wide variety of available fonts to choose from and integrating them into our project is easy and fast. Plus, the fonts served from the free Google CDN takes the load off from our servers, even if it's a small amount.

If you haven't started using Google Fonts yet I suggest you to do so. You won't regret it.
