Paysera vs Stripe: What are the differences?
Introduction
Paysera and Stripe are two popular payment processing platforms that provide solutions for businesses to accept payments online. While both platforms have similar functionalities, there are several key differences between Paysera and Stripe that make them suitable for different types of businesses.

On the other hand, Stripe provides a robust API that allows developers to build custom integrations for their websites or apps, giving businesses more flexibility in how they implement their payment system.
2. Supported Payment Methods: Paysera supports a vast array of payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, mobile payments, and more. Stripe, while offering credit card processing as its core functionality, also supports a limited number of alternative payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay. This gives Paysera an advantage for businesses operating in regions where alternative payment methods are widely used.
3. Pricing Structure: Paysera and Stripe have different pricing structures. Paysera charges businesses based on the volume of transactions processed, with different rates for domestic and international transactions. Stripe, however, charges a flat fee based on the transaction value, with no differentiation between domestic and international transactions. This makes Paysera more suitable for businesses with high international transaction volumes, as they can potentially save on processing fees.

We use GoCardless to simplify the way clients and partners pay for our services. What intrigued us is the quick and easy ACH feature that gives our clients the option to log in with their bank account and shoot the funds directly to our account. The fee, compared to Stripe is less. Stripe and PayPal charge 2.9% + 30c and Stripe also forces the client to enter in all of their payment details manually and then if the payment doesn't work, the client has to try all over again. GoCardless charges 1% + 25c which is much more reasonable dealing with the large projects that we are currently working on.
We integrate GoCardless with Xero to easily send out quick invoices, receive the funds and track all revenue in one place.

Stripe was made with developers in mind first so the extensibility of it is great! This makes it very easy for us to integrate and automate as much as we need with its APIs and SDK.
