At the time of writing, Blackfire supports #PHP version from 5.3 to 7.2 (5.4 and higher on Windows).
Supporting all of those versions and providing a great developer experience, when it comes to installing and upgrading Blackfire.io , represents quite an investment on our end.
This is the reason why, starting Monday, December 3rd 2018, profiling under PHP 5.3 to 7.0 will require at least a Profiler subscription. Our free “Hack” subscribers we still be able to profile when using PHP 7.1 and higher.
