Kixie vs Twilio: What are the differences?

  1. Integration options: Kixie offers seamless integration with leading CRM and helpdesk platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zendesk, making it easy for businesses to streamline their communication processes. On the other hand, Twilio provides a wide range of APIs and SDKs, allowing developers to build custom communication solutions from scratch, but requiring more technical expertise.

  2. Features for sales teams: Kixie provides features specifically designed for sales teams, including local presence dialing, auto-dialing, call coaching, and analytics. These features help sales teams optimize their calling efforts and improve productivity. Twilio, on the other hand, offers more general communication features like SMS, voice calls, and video calls, which can be customized to fit specific use cases.

  3. Pricing structure: Kixie offers a per-user per-month pricing model, which can be more cost-effective for smaller teams or businesses with a limited number of users. Twilio, on the other hand, offers a usage-based pricing model, where customers pay for the number of messages, minutes, or data used. This can be more flexible for larger teams or businesses with fluctuating communication needs.

  4. VoIP capabilities: Kixie specializes in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions, providing high-quality voice calls over the internet. They offer features like call recording, call routing, and VoIP phone system integration. Twilio, on the other hand, offers a broader range of communication options including voice, SMS, and video, but does not specialize solely in VoIP.

  5. Developer-friendly platform: Twilio is known for its developer-friendly platform, providing robust APIs, documentation, and developer resources. This allows developers to easily integrate Twilio's communication capabilities into their own applications and workflows. Kixie also provides APIs, but their platform is more focused on providing ready-to-use features for businesses without requiring extensive development work.

  6. Support options: Kixie offers dedicated support to their customers, providing phone, email, and chat support options. They also offer onboarding sessions and training materials to help customers get started quickly. Twilio provides community forums, email support, and professional services, but does not offer direct phone support.

In summary, Kixie offers seamless CRM integrations, sales-focused features, a per-user pricing model, VoIP capabilities, dedicated support, and a user-friendly platform. Twilio, on the other hand, provides a wide range of communication options, a developer-friendly platform, usage-based pricing, and community support.

Needs adviceonSalesforce Sales CloudSalesforce Sales CloudSalesforceSalesforce

Hey! We need an omnichannel inbox that's housed within Salesforce Sales Cloud that makes it super easy for our reps to respond to inbound communication (needs: clean inbox, provides historical context, etc.). We're a high-volume call center, and we get a ton of incoming SMS and email every day. We'd love a solution that lets us view all of that in one place — ideally Salesforce, as that's where our reps work, and we want to avoid needing them to switch between windows. Thanks!

Hello! We need to integrate an SMS gateway into our app for user phone verification. As we are just starting, we are searching for the most affordable/best price/performance option for SMS gateway to verify client phone numbers with the code, maybe you can suggest something between those two or maybe something else. We are planning to do business in Europe
